Norbert A. Dencher is Full Professor in Physical Biochemistry, Faculty of Chemistry, at Darmstadt University of Technology, Germany. Research interests: structure-function-dynamics relationship of membranes, light-driven proton pump bacteriorhodopsin, respiratory chain supercomplexes and proton-ATP synthases, changes related to energy conversion, ageing, age-related diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Disease. Highlights of his research were published in three Nature articles.
